I absolutely love the fall season and how beautiful north central Pennsylvania is during this time of the year. However, we cannot forget what a great summer that was enjoyed by all at Martha Lloyd. As I look through the photos, it is wonderful to see all the smiles and fun as memories were created and new friendships developed. Isn’t that what makes life special?
One of my most cherished memories was Family Day. Over 300 people enjoyed a day of reconnecting, music (thank you to the Troy High School Marching Band), great food, fun activities, and a visit from Congressman Dan Meuser. The best part of the day for me was watching family and friends share a laugh, catching up on four years of missed time, and relaxing with loved ones. I truly hope that all of you enjoyed the day as much as I did.
Life continues to be busy at Martha Lloyd. We are near the completion of our strategic plan that will guide our organization over the next several years. Although this is a monumental task, our team and Board of Directors have embraced the challenge. I am excited to roll up my sleeves and work on implementing our plan.
By the time that you read our newsletter, the holidays will be upon us. I wish all of you and your families a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It is time to create more memories in 2024!
