Martha Lloyd Community Services also offers Life Sharing through Family Living. This program offers residential care for a person with developmental disabilities by a family or individual in their private home in the community. Life Sharing provides a stable, supportive environment in which each person is encouraged to reach his or her fullest potential. A key ingredient to successful Life Sharing is the compatibility between the family and the person with disabilities. Families and individuals who provide family living services receive training from Martha Lloyd Community Services specific to the needs of the person sharing their home. A program specialist oversees and provides support for all aspects of the relationship.
