Assistant Controller
The Assistant Controller supports the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing the daily financial operations of Martha Lloyd Community Services and its affiliated entities.
This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of accounting processes, strengthening internal controls, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and supporting organizational compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
- Years of experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience preferred.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Experience with nonprofit, healthcare, or human services accounting preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Assistant Controller Job Description
Skilled Maintenance II
The Skilled Maintenance Worker II performs both routine and complex tasks to maintain the organization’s buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role includes carrying out advanced repairs on structures and equipment, including vehicles, as well as operating tools and equipment to keep outdoor areas safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
Formal training in electrical, plumbing and carpentry, or 3 years related experience. - Intermediate computer skills.
Direct Support Professional Employment Opportunities
While providing supervision and support, the Direct Support Professional also provides opportunities for each individual to develop and grow toward greater independence.
Current Openings include full and part-time positions in both residential and day program settings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required
- Experience with individuals with IDD preferred, but willing to train otherwise qualified candidates
- Certification in medication administration, first aid, and CPR preferred
- Must clear criminal record and other background checks in accordance with state requirements
