As the new President/CEO of Martha Lloyd Community Services, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. Until 2021, I lived in the Lehigh Valley with my husband Barry, daughter Chloe, and a host of furry friends (a puppy and three cats). During my time in the Lehigh Valley region, I held a number of leadership roles at Via of the Lehigh Valley, Step By Step, Easter Seals of Eastern Pennsylvania and Peaceful Living. After relocating to Allegheny County, I was the Executive Director at Citizen Care, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality. During my time at Citizen Care, I led a large residential program as well as day programs, supported employment and community engagement. In the course of my career, I have developed a number of programs that focus on employment, volunteering, retirement, and school-to-work transition.
After a 34-year career in providing supports to people of all abilities across Pennsylvania, I am eager to forge relationships in a community that has embraced all of us at Martha Lloyd Community Services. During the most challenging of times, we come together as a community for strength and to support one another. Our shared values and goals connect us as one.
What do I value most in life? My family, friends, and community mean the world to me. The same values that are near and dear to everyone at Martha Lloyd Community Services. I am humbled to lead such a wonderful organization and excited to see what we can accomplish together. Let me leave you with a quote that eloquently describes all that is Martha Lloyd Community Services.
“People working together in a strong community with a shared goal and common purpose can make the impossible possible.”
Thank you for welcoming me into your community!
